Rob and Melanie came
to Bethabara in August of 2006 after 8 years at First Baptist Church
Warrenton. Rob was called into the ministry his junior year at
Baylor University. He graduated with a Business degree and went
to seminary. He graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas with a Master of Divinity with Biblical
Languages degree. He later completed his Doctor of Ministry
degree from Luther Rice Seminary in 2001. He has been full time
in the ministry since March 1993.
Rob met Melanie in a
church parking lot while both of them were in seminary. They
have 3 children: Robby, Katie Beth and Cody.
Rob loves mission
work. He has a passion to train national pastors and has been
given many opportunities to train pastors in France, Russia, and
Africa.
Rob's desire is to
see God do something so incredible that only He can get the glory for
it.
William and Ora felt the Lord calling
him into music ministry during the Christmas of 1994. William
has been on staff since February of 1995.
William is the music minister at Bethabara as well as the Band
Director at West
Jackson Middle School. God has blessed William with the energy
and passion to
teach his students and lead the music ministry of the church.
William believes
that " Life is about identifying the gifts that God has given you and
using them
to the benefit of others and to the Glory of God."
William and Ora have a heart for missions. Ora teaches Mission
Friends and
serves on the State WMU Executive Board. William has led many
successful
mission trips.
William is a graduate of the University of Georgia with his Bachelor's
degree in
Music Education and his Master's in Educational Leadership.
William enjoys
singing with the Sons of Jubal. William and Ora reside in
Statham with their
three active boys: Christian, Micah and Bill.
William is currently on a 6-month
sabbatical. In the meantime, Glynn Segars has agreed to be our
Interim Music Minister.
